Transformative Journeys: From Animal Trainer to Renovation Expert

I’ve always believed that every space, every story, and every life is capable of a beautiful transformation. Whether I’m working with an animal, reshaping a historic home, or sharing my own messy, rewarding realities on camera, my life’s work is about peeling back the layers to leave things better than I found them.

Every space, every story, and every life is capable of a beautiful transformation.

My journey started in a place most people don’t expect: as a marine mammal trainer. Working side-by-side with dolphins taught me everything I know about patience, acute observation, and behavior modification. It wasn’t about control; it was about building absolute trust and clear communication across species boundaries. That deep understanding of behavioral strategy changed the way I look at the world.

Wanting to bring that master-level behavioral strategy back to dry land, I moved to New York City and founded Manhattan Pet Service completely from the ground up. I scaled the business from a solo venture into a trusted, premium dog walking, pet sitting, and behavioral training company serving clients across the city. It taught me how to handle chaos, solve complex real-world problems, and build an impactful community.

Today, that passion for growth has shifted toward physical environments and digital storytelling. I’ve taken on multiple intensive home renovations—including the massive, emotional challenge of restoring my grandmother’s historic childhood home. On my Chaz Christopher YouTube Channel, I capture it all: the dust, the demolition, the high-energy reveals, and the raw personal milestones like navigating my own coming-out story.

I’m not innately comfortable putting my entire life out on the internet, but I do it because I want to remind people that rebuilding, growing, and living your truth is always worth the work. Thanks for stopping by. Grab a coffee, dive into the projects, and let’s build something beautiful.
