Hey everyone, welcome back to my channel. I love to look into the history of holidays and why we celebrate them. Since we’re quickly approaching Halloween, I thought it would be fun to see why we celebrate Halloween and where it originated from. Halloween has a long history that dates back over 3,000 years with the ancient Celts, who celebrated Samhain. In the modern era, the church took over this holiday and started what they called, “All Hallows Day” on November 1st, making October 31st “All Hallows Eve.” For the full history, you’ll just have to watch this video.
