Ten years ago I visited Hawaii for the first time. While I was visiting it was recommended that I eat at Boots and Kimos. OMG, their banana pancakes with their homemade macadamia nut sauce was sooo delicious and has been something I’ve never forgotten. The other day a picture I had taken at the restaurant popped up in my memories. Seeing the picture gave me the idea that I should try to recreate their recipe.
